Aloe Vera

For many years, this fabulous plant has been the best kept secret in medicine. People have been using it for centuries to fight infections, heal wounds and it works wonders with acne, as well. There are currently numerous types of aloe-based lotions and creams guaranteed to fight acne, but why go for a pharmacy product when you can grow your own plant at home and get even more benefits in the process?

Aloe Vera is the perfect plant to keep in your apartment, since it doesn’t mind a little bit of shade and it also doesn’t require that much watering. It is a succulent plant, which means it usually holds a lot of water, so if you pay a little visit every seven days, that should be enough.

That’s all great, but how do I fix my acne?

Well, it’s quite simple actually.  What you need to do is just cut one of its leaves, break it apart and then rub its pulp over the affected skin area. If you do this habitually at least once a day, you should start seeing results in no time.

While acne is usually encountered in teenagers, age spots are common after the age of 50. That does not mean, however, that young people cannot suffer from them, but this typically happens if they get too much sun exposure.

Onion and apple cider vinegar are also known for improving their appearance, however this method requires a bit more patience, since it takes almost six months to see some noteworthy results. What you need to do is blend an onion, drain it into a bowl, add an equal amount of apple cider vinegar and then use a cotton swab to apply this mixture over your age spots.

Stretch marks
